ACCOMMODATION & HOW TO GET THERE
The EDGE Jamboree 2015 will take place at Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE), at Aix-Marseille University, in the building of the Vieille Charité in Marseille. The conference itself, the accommodation as well as meals, will all be provided by AMSE. The postal address of the Vieille Charité is 2, rue de la charité, 13002 Marseille.
All participants will be accomodated at the Grand Hotel Beauvau, located 4, rue Beauvau, 13001 Marseille (see their website).
1- How to reach the hotel from the Airport
• Access by bus - Marseille-Provence Airport <-> Gare St. Charles
Shuttle (details here): every 15 minutes from 4:50 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.,
including Saturdays and Sundays. Price: 8.50 EUR one way ticket. Journey time: 25 minutes.
The shuttle drops you at the Saint-Charles Railway Station. From there, you can either walk 10 to 15 minutes (see map) or take the Metro line 1 (the blue line) to the station Vieux-Port (see map).

2- How to reach the Vieille Charité from the hotel
• Walking (about 10 minutes) - see map:
1-Take the Rue de la République (on your right when you face the port) - 200m
2-Continue onto Rue de la République - 400m
3-At the roundabout (Place Sadi Carnot), continue onto Rue de la République - 100 m
4-Turn left into Passage de Lorette (located at number 51 of the street)
5-Go up the stairs and continue onto Rue de Lorette - 100 m
6-Continue onto Rue du Petit Puits - 50 m
7-Continue onto Rue de la Charité - 50 m
The Vieille Charité center is located on your right
• By Tramway (see map):
Walk to the station Saint-Louis and take the tramway T3 (green line). Get off at station Sadi Carnot and then
go to point 3 of the above explanation.
3- How to reach the Vieille Charité from the Saint-Charles station
Take metro line 2 (red line) towards Bougainville and stop at Joliette station (see map)
Continue on foot (about 10 minutes) - see map:
Rue de la République - 100 m
Turn right onto Rue de l’Evêché - 200 m
Turn left onto Rue Jean-François Leca - 100 m
Turn right onto Rue de l’Observance - 200 m
Continue to the left onto Rue de la Charité - 100 m
The Vieille Charité center is located on your left.
