EDGE Jamboree 2011: Accomodation, Location and Directions:

EDGE coordinators will be staying at Hotel d'Este, which is located near Bocconi University (map). Students instead will be staying in  the Hotel  Garden. This hotel is slightly farther away from Bocconi University. In order to get to the university you can either walk (25 min, map) or take the tramway (25 min, in order to get a map with detailed instructions, click on the 'calculate' button on the left hand side of this page).

If you  fly to Milano Linate the easiest way to get to your hotels is by taxi (approx. 20 Euro). If instead your flight arrives at Milano Malpensa, then the best way to get to Milano is to take the Malpensa Express to Milano-Cadorna (tickets and time tables available here).  There is also a train to Milano-Centrale (the main train station of Milano). But Milano-Centrale is farther away from the two hotels and the university. When you arrive at Milano-Cadorna you can take a taxi to get to your hotels. Finally, those of you who plan to fly to the airport  of Bergamo (Orio sul Serio) will find a bus right outside the airport building that takes you to Milano-Centrale.

The conference will be held in Room AS01 (floor -1) of the new building in Via Roentgen 1.  You will find more detailed instructions about  how to get to  the conference room at the main entrance of the building in  Via Roentgen 1 (the main entrance is shown  here).
